Job Summary:

The Retail Credit Manager is responsible for underwriting mortgage business and managing the portfolio in an assigned branch/location.

  • Assess loan applications and recommend approval decisions to higher authorities
  • Review credit proposals, ensuring industry, business, financial, and collateral risks are identified and mitigated
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct personal discussions with customers to assess creditworthiness and ensure document completion
  • Maintain Portfolio MIS, Delinquency MIS, and other operational reports
  • Enable quick turnaround of credit proposals in close coordination with the sales team
