Job OverviewAs a key member of the IT team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of our organization's IT infrastructure. This includes ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, providing technical support to employees, and implementing security protocols. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining the optimal performance and uptime of our systems.Key Responsibilities:
  • Hardware and Software Management: Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, networks, printers, and systems.
  • System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal uptime.
  • User Account Management: Manage user accounts, access rights, and security permissions.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT-related queries.
  • Data Backup and Recovery: Oversee data backups, recovery processes, and disaster recovery planning.
  • IT Security: Implement and monitor IT security measures (firewalls, antivirus, patching, etc.).
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors for procurement, maintenance, and service support.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of IT assets (laptops, desktops, servers, network devices, etc.).
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection guidelines.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Support the onboarding/offboarding process with IT setup and access management.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience as an IT Administrator/System Administrator or similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments, hands-on experience with networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, routers, switches), familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Workspace, etc.), good understanding of cybersecurity practices.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
