Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled educator to lead our capacity-building programs in Teacher Education.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in STEM subjects and experience in developing and implementing high-quality training programs.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Capacity Building:
    • Conduct workshops and courses for teachers in STEM using progressive pedagogical and adult learning methodologies.
    • Prepare capacity building program plans in STEM and provide inputs for the academic calendar.
    • Coordinate with subject teams for planning and executing STEM programs.
  • Research and Development:
    • Develop research-based specialized content and instructions to achieve workshop goals and objectives.
    • Conduct training need assessments, baseline and end-line assessments to check program effectiveness.
    • Conceptualise, design and conduct research on regular basis to enhance program quality.
  • School Visits and Direct Intervention:
    • Observe classroom sessions at various schools to understand program impact.
    • Plan and provide on-site support to selected teachers in schools.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Document and report progress on allocated tasks.
    • Prepare and submit training reports, classroom observation reports and other reports.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry, or an equivalent degree.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in capacity-building programs in Teacher Education.
