As a Senior Software Development Engineer II at DP World Australia, you will be responsible for analyzing customer business requirements and product objectives to develop and ensure that the solution and design in ServiceNow meet customer specifications and expectations. This involves providing software coding and customization, including screen tailoring, workflow, administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, and custom application development. You will also coordinate and solve complex technical data and transformation issues related to DP World's IT Service Management. Additionally, you will identify gaps in DP World's ITSM instance and recommend or provide solutions, following and implementing best practices of ITSM around development, change release deployments, integration, etc. Furthermore, you will perform proper and in-depth analysis to ensure business continuity when deploying new changes to ITSM's environment. You will closely collaborate with the ServiceNow product team to ensure that DP World's ITSM is up to date in terms of product developments/releases. Demonstrations of the product, both standard and tailored to potential users and existing customers within DP World and its sub-entities, are also a key responsibility. You will design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security. You will use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all team deliverables. You will also write high-quality distributed system software. You will work in an agile, startup-like development environment, where you are always working on the most important stuff. In this role, you will lead a critical and highly visible function within DP World International Expansion Business. You will be given the opportunity to autonomously deliver the technical direction of the service and the feature roadmap. You will work with extraordinary talent and have the opportunity to hire and shape the team to best execute on the product. You will ensure a security-first approach during the design and development of applications. You will adhere to all DP World policies, including information security. Other Responsibilities
