Job Title
Solution Architect for Platform Engineering

We are seeking a Solution Architect to design, develop and implement scalable infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing the scalability, reliability and efficiency of our services and applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and ensure the platform meets the needs of our business and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to automate and improve deployment processes and infrastructure management.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and proactively address potential bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines and ensure best practices in software delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and teams.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Ensure security best practices are integrated into the development and deployment processes.
  • Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders to align on technology roadmap and progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of platform architecture and design principles. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is essential. Additionally, proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java or Go is required. Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible etc.) is also necessary.

About the Role:

  • This role involves leading the architecture and design of platform services to support application development and deployment.
  • Implementing automation tools and processes to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Monitoring system performance, making recommendations for improvements and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
