  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications.
  • Architect and implement real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of OT systems with enterprise IT systems.
  • Develop and maintain secure, efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols.
  • Manage industrial databases for high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing SCADA/MES deployments.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across the engineering team.
  • Provide technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives.

Essential Skills:

">
  • Proven expertise with Ignition SCADA, Inductive Automation, including scripting module configuration and project deployment.
  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, traceability, SPC, etc.
  • Proficiency with database technologies: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent.
  • Experience with OT/IT integration technologies, REST APIs for system interconnectivity, MQTT for IIoT messaging, and OPC UA for industrial interoperability.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, SCADAs, HMIs, and plant floor connectivity.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards: ISA95, ISA88, ISA99, IEC 62443.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms: Azure IoT, AWS IoT, etc.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments.
  • Familiarity with containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, for SCADA/MES deployments.
  • Experience in working on large-scale digital transformation/Industry 4.0 projects.
  • Certifications: Ignition Gold Certified Specialist, OPC UA, or relevant industrial IT/OT certifications.
