Job Title: ETL Data Solutions Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled ETL data solutions developer to join our team. As an ETL data solutions developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end business intelligence solutions, including data extraction, ETL processes, and data visualization through dashboards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ETL, shell or Python scripting, data modeling, analysis, and preparation. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide inputs from a data perspective.

You will also be responsible for comprehending the underlying data and data flow, building simple to complex pipelines and dataflows, and implementing modules with security and authorization frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • SQL Programming: Proficient in SQL programming and ETL (required)
  • Azure Data Factory: Expert-level knowledge of Azure Data Factory
  • Advanced Technologies: Advanced knowledge of Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL, and Logic Apps
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to understand complex data
  • Experience with Azure Services: Experience with Azure Data Lake and Azure services like Analysis Service, SQL Databases, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of Data Management: Knowledge of master data management, data warehousing, and business intelligence architecture
  • Database Design: Expertise in data modeling and database design with excellent knowledge of SQL Server best practices
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) with ability to communicate clearly at various organizational levels
  • Agile Environment: Clear understanding of Data Warehouse (DW) lifecycle, including preparing design documents, unit test plans, and code review reports
  • Big Data Technologies: Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Lean, Kanban) is a plus, as well as knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Spark Framework, NoSQL, Azure Databricks, and the Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, Impala, HDFS, YARN, Pig, Oozie) is a plus
