Job Description

We are seeking a Housekeeping Team Member to join our team. As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responding promptly to guest requests and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Filling carts with supplies and transporting them to assigned areas
  • Entering guest rooms according to established procedures to ensure guest privacy and security
  • Replacing guest amenities and supplies in rooms as needed
  • Cleaning bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and bathtubs
  • Removing trash, dirty linen, and room service items from guest rooms
  • Checking appliances in guest rooms to ensure they are in working order
  • Straightening desk items, furniture, and appliances
  • Dusting and polishing surfaces, including walls and furnishings
  • Vacuuming carpets and performing floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways
Requirements

To be successful as a Housekeeping Team Member, you must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart over sloping and uneven surfaces
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods of time across an entire work shift
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight using fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
