Our team is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead cloud infrastructure projects. This role combines project management, systems administration oversight, and client-facing responsibilities.

The Project Manager will oversee cross-functional projects, manage cloud-focused teams, and collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients.

This position requires strong technical expertise in AWS, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate projects in dynamic environments.

Job Description

Project Management and Delivery:

  • Lead cloud infrastructure projects using Agile/Scrum or traditional methodologies.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and coach teams on Agile principles.
  • Oversee projects end-to-end, including planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.

Cloud Infrastructure and Systems Oversight:

  • Support administration of AWS environments (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation).
  • Coordinate deployments, migrations, and optimization of cloud infrastructure.

Client Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for cloud infrastructure projects.
  • Translate client requirements into technical specifications and ensure solutions align with business objectives.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Well-Architected Framework, CI/CD, DevOps).
  • Recommend enhancements to improve infrastructure reliability, team performance, and client satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in systems administration, with at least 3 years managing AWS environments.
  • 4+ years in project management or Scrum Master roles in IT or cloud-based environments.
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience, including requirements gathering and solution delivery.

Leadership and Soft Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Availability:

  • Flexibility to work late-night shifts for system maintenance, project deadlines, and global client needs.
