Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services.

Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining automation scripts, implementing containerized applications, and using AWS CDK to define cloud infrastructure in code.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, and other DevOps tools.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and services in AWS, leveraging native services like EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages to streamline operations.
  • Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift.
  • Use AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) to define cloud infrastructure in code and manage deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services, cloud security, deployment processes, and system performance.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure efficient integration and deployment processes.
  • Monitor, log, and improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps practices and cloud engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and infrastructure management.
  • 2+ years of scripting experience using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • 2+ years of working with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, etc.
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve AWS Cloud-related issues.
  • 2+ years of experience in deploying and supporting AWS-native applications.
  • 1+ year of experience using AWS CDK to provision infrastructure as code (IaC).
