Data Center Network Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Network Specialist to lead our network operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in datacenter networking, including Cisco products and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and troubleshoot data center networking devices.
- Maintain network hardware and software infrastructure.
- Analyze and resolve complex network incidents and service requests.
- Determine network requirements and identify user needs.
- Design and deploy networks aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for internal use.
- Enhance and optimize monitoring infrastructure.
Essential Skills
- Expertise in datacenter networking and Cisco technology.
- Able to design and collaborate on multiple-layer network architecture.
- Proficient in ITIL-based support operations with 24x7 support capabilities.
- Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent knowledge is required.
- Strong understanding of Cisco ACI architecture and Nexus 7000/5000 series.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced routing and switching skills.
- Ability to implement complex IOS and NX-OS features.
- Experience in conducting comprehensive datacenter network tests.
- Scripting and automation skills for daily tasks.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in datacenter networking.
- Ability to set direction and prioritize work based on operational needs.
