Job Responsibilities:

As an SEO Specialist at Target River, you will be responsible for assisting in the execution of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies across client websites. You will conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to inform content and SEO efforts.

You will optimize website content, meta tags, images, internal links, and URLs based on SEO best practices. You will support the SEO Manager in monitoring rankings, traffic, and engagement metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.

You will assist in identifying and resolving technical SEO issues, such as crawl errors, indexing issues, site speed, and mobile usability. You will coordinate with content creators, developers, and account managers to ensure SEO strategies are aligned and executed effectively.

Key Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in SEO (agency experience preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of current SEO best practices, including E-E-A-T, Core Web Vitals, and mobile-first optimization
  • Experience with WordPress and other CMS platforms
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and how websites function
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented, detail-focused, and results-driven
