Strategic Cost Manager Role

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Cost Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining cost breakdown structures, preparing pricing estimates, and tracking project costs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Project Management team to produce Cost Breakdown Structures based on project Work Breakdown Structures.
  • Develop processes and tools to carry out pricing estimates based on project stakeholder input.
  • Track and analyze project costs, including budgets, commitments, actuals, accruals, forecasts, and contingencies analysis.
  • Produce forecasts of total project costs, annual costs, and monthly cash flow costs, and provide variance analysis and explanations.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience on global UK, Middle East, or US projects.
  • Strong understanding of earned value concepts and calculations.
  • Proficiency in cost management tools such as Ecosys and report preparation skills.
  • Preferred - PMIS Software knowledge - Primavera, Unifier, Ares Prism, Ecosys.
Desired Skills:
  • Primavera P6, MSP.
  • Expert in Microsoft Power BI.
  • Expertise in O365 Apps.
