Job Opportunity:

The role of Technical Support Associate is a dynamic position that requires exceptional customer service skills and technical expertise to resolve complex issues in a fast-paced online environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver top-notch support to end-users via an online ticketing system
  • Process customer inquiries, concerns, and requests about IT products and services in a timely manner
  • Collect detailed information to determine requirements and break down tasks for processing efficiently
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to applications, infrastructure, and software using strong analytical skills
  • Research required information using available resources and stay updated on system information, changes, and updates
  • Follow established processes and procedures to ensure quality service delivery
  • Escalate priority issues to appropriate teams and resources as needed
  • Accurately process and record communication on Service Desk tickets while maintaining confidentiality
  • Offer alternative solutions to customers to retain business
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients through clear and concise language

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in customer service principles and practices
  • Strong phone etiquette and effective listening skills
  • Ability to speak and write clearly and accurately with proper grammar and spelling
  • Multi-tasking capabilities and strong reasoning skills to analyze complex issues
  • Basic computer fundamentals and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical problems
  • Demonstrated proficiency in grammar and typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in a customer-facing role
  • Strong computer fundamentals and basic knowledge of the Internet, browsers, and MS Office Suite
