We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing Continuous Delivery practices and leading branching, monitoring, and deploying solutions between environments.
- Maintain and support the Continuous Delivery platform and its users.
- Lead day-to-day activities involving DevOps practices, including deploying updates and fixes, contributing to continuous improvement, detecting inefficiencies, and increasing maturity of DevOps practices.
- Work closely with development teams to implement reliable and speedy build environments for DEV & QA.
- Provide timely build status updates and automate as much as possible to improve efficiency and quality.
- Promote innovation, implementation of latest technologies, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, and self-organization.
- Monitor logs and present weekly reports with various matrices.
The successful candidate will have excellent hands-on skills in CI/CD tools and practices, with experience in doing POCs of new DevOps tools. They should also have working knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and Cloud technologies, with at least 5+ years of experience in AWS.
Additional requirements include excellent verbal and written communication skills, with support for tools like Jenkins and Jira. A minimum of 4+ years of working knowledge in Kubernetes is necessary, along with 2+ years of experience in other tools such as Prometheus, Ansible, Maven, Bitbucket, and Docker. Experience in hosting and monitoring NodeJS-based applications is a plus.
Static code analysis and scripting languages like Shell or Python are also essential skills for this position. Pantheon.io experience is a bonus.
Key Qualifications- At least 5+ years of experience in the IT industry with excellent technical leadership skills and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent hands-on skills in CI/CD tools and practices.
- Experience in doing POCs of new DevOps tools.
