Job Title:

Database Architect

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Database Architect to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining databases to meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement databases to meet the needs of our business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop database solutions.
  • Maintain and optimize existing databases to ensure high performance and data integrity.
  • Develop and implement data backup and recovery procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in database administration and design.
  • Strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS) and database architecture.
  • Experience working with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Certification in DBA or related field.
  • Experience with virtualization, load balancing, and clustering technologies.
  • Knowledge of information security concepts and ISO 27001 standards.
