Job Description

Lead business development for the petrochemicals vertical, focusing on oil rigs and exploration assets. Identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic acquisition opportunities.

  • Drive M&A strategy end-to-end – target identification, due diligence, financial evaluation, negotiations, and integration.
  • Develop a robust pipeline of potential acquisition targets in coastal regions globally.
  • Leverage existing networks and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the global petrochemical and oil exploration sector.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to execute deals smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and assess market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to identify new growth avenues.
  2. Represent the company at international forums, trade shows, and industry conferences.
  3. Work closely with the leadership team to align expansion strategies with overall business goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in business development, M&A, or strategy in the petrochemicals/oil & gas sector.
  • Proven track record of deal-making, especially with international assets or companies.
  • Deep understanding of upstream oil & gas operations, especially rig operations.
  • Strong global network in the petrochemical space, especially in coastal countries with active oil rigs.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • MBA or relevant technical qualification preferred.
