Senior Hospitality Public Relations Specialist

As a Senior Hospitality Public Relations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic media plans to elevate the organization's profile. You will work closely with internal teams to create innovative solutions that align with client goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Media Relations & Thought Leadership: Foster relationships with media outlets, pitch strategic stories, and secure impactful placements to enhance the organization's reputation.
  2. Lead Strategic PR Efforts: Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels.
  3. Crisis Communication: Oversee crisis management strategy, ensuring rapid, effective responses to protect the organization's reputation.
  4. Content & Messaging Strategy: Create and review strategic content, including press releases, case studies, and executive messaging, maintaining brand alignment.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate relationships with media, clients, industry leaders, and stakeholders, tailoring communication strategies for each.
  6. Executive Communications: Prepare executives with media training, speechwriting, and talking points for public appearances and press interactions.
  7. Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and guide the PR team, fostering growth, accountability, and high-quality output.
  8. Metrics & Reporting: Track and analyze PR performance, media coverage, and campaign impact, presenting insights to senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in hospitality management, event planning, public relations, or a related field, ideally within a PR or agency setting.
  • A strong track record of successfully managing high-profile hospitality events, media partnerships, and VIP engagements.
  • Excellent understanding of public relations, branding, and the role hospitality plays in enhancing PR efforts.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
