Insurance Underwriter Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the position of Insurance Underwriter. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with exceptional product knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage underwriting and placements for assigned corporates.
  • Create and distribute Request for Quote (RFQ) documents to various insurance companies.
  • Secure policy placements and provide after-sales servicing, including claims management and employee additions/deletions in non-Employee Benefit Policies.
  • Prepare reports as required by regulatory bodies and scrutinize claims submissions.
  • Provide customer service support for claims and enrollment purposes.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop agendas and high-level action notes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients through courteous interactions.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in any field.
  • Prior experience in Insurance would be beneficial.
  • Profound understanding of Property, Fire, and Engineering products.
  • Able to work autonomously and effectively engage with CXOs of corporates.
  • Motivated individual with a drive to succeed.
