**Job Title:** MEP Systems Trainer



Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced MEP Systems Trainer to join our team at NY Engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, creating, and updating training materials on MEP topics (mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems).



Responsibilities:




  • Design, create, and update training materials on MEP topics (mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems).
  • Deliver both classroom-based and on-the-job training to engineers.
  • Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to MEP.
  • Integrate updates into training programs and materials.
  • Assess trainees' performance through tests, assessments, and practical exercises.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Work closely with project managers, HR, and technical teams to tailor training based on company needs.
  • Participate in workforce development initiatives to improve overall team performance in MEP disciplines.
  • Track training progress and document evaluations.
  • Prepare regular reports to management on training effectiveness and recommendations for improvement.


Requirements:




  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP design with significant training experience.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, codes, and standards.
  • Prior experience in delivering technical training and development programs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Certification as a trainer or educator in relevant MEP fields is a plus.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Proficient in using training technology, such as e-learning platforms, PowerPoint, and simulation software.
  • Ability to work with diverse groups and customize training according to various skill levels.
