Mathematical Modeling Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mathematical Modeling Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of related experience in statistics and probability, programming languages such as C/C++/C#, and Python. They will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and executing simulation code to analyze math data.

  • Develop, review, and execute test plans and test scripts for verifying math data.
  • Review math formulas and math sheet information.
  • Follow established guidelines on a daily basis.
  • Submit and track any issues found during verification to ensure they are resolved.
  • Utilize required databases for quality assurance and testing.
  • Provide input to the weekly project status report for each assigned project.
  • Provide detailed completion reports at the end of each project.
  • Interface with other development members to effectively communicate and resolve reported issues in a timely manner.

Key skills and abilities include:

  • Knowledge or experience with math fundamentals (statistics and probability).
  • Proficiency with analytical and logical skills.
  • Knowledge or experience with C/C++/C# programming.
  • Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency.
  • Python or shell scripting language proficiency a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with other team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Capable of providing input and potential solutions to identified issues.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
