Job Overview:

We are seeking skilled mathematicians to contribute to the fine-tuning and evaluation of large language models (LLMs) in mathematics. The successful candidate will assist in improving LLMs' ability to understand and solve complex math problems.

Research Objectives
  • Determine the number of real symmetric matrices of rank 2 whose entries are only 0 or 1.
  • Calculate the number of subsets of a set with exactly 3 non-zero elements.
  • Count the distinct numbers where each digit is either 0 or 1, and the sum of digits is divisible by 3.

These tasks are designed to identify model weaknesses and improve training and evaluation workflows.

Candidate Profile
  • Academic Background: PhD/Postdoc in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to solve advanced math problems using clear and structured reasoning.
  • Communication Skills: Clarity in explaining complex topics and providing feedback with precision.
  • Research Independence: Ability to work independently in a remote research environment.
  • Technical Setup: Access to a reliable computer and internet setup.
