Job Title: Irrigation Automation Specialist

Overview:
As a skilled Irrigation Automation Specialist, you will play a vital role in gathering essential data for the planning and implementation of irrigation automation systems. Your responsibilities will include conducting on-site surveys, collecting accurate information, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of our cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough field surveys to assess the existing irrigation infrastructure and environmental conditions.
  • Utilize surveying tools and equipment to gather precise measurements and data.
  • Collect and document relevant data on soil types, topography, water sources, and other factors affecting irrigation efficiency.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure accurate data interpretation.
  • Collaborate with farmers, landowners, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and concerns.
  • Provide clear communication on survey findings and proposed irrigation solutions.
  • Create detailed maps and reports based on survey data for use in the design and planning phases.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation throughout the survey process.
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of collected data by conducting regular checks and validations.
  • Address any discrepancies or issues promptly and efficiently.


Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Engineering, EEE, ECE, or a related field;
* Proven experience in field surveys and data collection is an advantage;
* Familiarity with irrigation systems and agricultural practices;
* Proficient in using surveying tools and equipment;
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
* Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
