Deep-Tech Investment Opportunities

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled investment analyst to join our team.

  • This is a challenging role that involves working closely with founders and other stakeholders to identify and evaluate deep-tech startups.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can help us source and research potential investment opportunities.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of finance, financial modeling, and valuation skills, as well as experience or interest in deep-tech sectors.

You will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing and researching deep-tech startups across India's academic and research ecosystem.
  • Evaluating technology readiness, business models, IP, and founder-market fit.
  • Preparing investment memos and presenting findings to the investment committee.
  • Working with founders to track milestones, financials, and fundraising readiness.

Requirements:

  • A degree in science, engineering, finance, economics, or business; candidates with dual exposure (e.g., engineering + MBA/finance) are strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Experience or interest in deep-tech sectors, including understanding TRL stages and commercial viability of research.

Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proactive, resourceful mindset with comfort working in unstructured, early-stage environments.
