Key Accountant Position

This role is responsible for overseeing Record to Report functional responsibilities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining accurate records.

The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting and finance skills, with experience in handling teams and excellent communication abilities.

  • Manage day-to-day activities related to Record to Report, including data processing and reconciliation.
  • Maintain a daily log for tracking progress and resolving queries.
  • Contribute to month-end closing and reporting activities, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Monitor accruals and aging of accruals on a regular basis.
  • Prepare and submit reports related to monthly closing, variance analysis, and audit support.
  • Oversee vendor and customer reconciliation processes, resolving any discrepancies that may arise.
  • Review indirect expenses and prepaid expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance with budget guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager and MIS team to deliver high-quality monthly reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in accounts payable/accounts receivable or financial management roles.
  • Proven track record of leading a team of at least 6-8 people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in English language.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
