Job Title:

A Senior IT Asset Management Specialist will oversee the acquisition, deployment, inventory, maintenance, and disposal of IT hardware assets.

  3. Procurement and Vendor Management: Collaborate with procurement teams to manage hardware purchases and vendor contracts, negotiating costs and ensuring timely delivery of assets.
  4. Compliance and Governance: Ensure hardware asset management complies with organizational policies and regulatory requirements, developing and enforcing asset management policies, procedures, and best practices.
  5. Budgeting and Cost Optimization: Monitor and control IT asset costs, identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements, assisting in budget planning for hardware procurement and maintenance.
  6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, end-users, and stakeholders to understand hardware requirements and resolve issues, providing regular updates on asset status, availability, and performance metrics.
  7. Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on asset utilization, compliance, and lifecycle status, analyzing asset data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of IT asset management tools and systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Lansweeper).
  • Familiarity with IT hardware types, configurations, and specifications.
