Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect and SQL Expert to design, develop, and maintain complex relational databases. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of SQL, experience with ETL processes, and a deep understanding of data modelling and database performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement efficient and optimized data models (normalized and denormalized) for transactional and analytical purposes.
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data integration and transformation using tools like SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex relational databases, including writing efficient and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
  • Monitor, maintain, and improve database security, integrity, and availability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in database development and management.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and major RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).
  • ETL tools Azure Data Factory, Informatica PowerCenter, Snowflake.
  • Data modelling concepts (star schema, snowflake, normalization).
  • Performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL).
