Job Role: Data Analytics Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical part in the migration of enterprise data solutions from HANA to Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and analyze analytics and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies of business requirements and collaborate with the capabilities team to identify source systems, data sets, and tables needed to fulfill these requirements.
  • Convert functional requirements into technical solutions and create detailed business requirement documents (BRD) and functional design documents (FD).
  • Perform unit testing of the solution and support business teams for completion of user acceptance testing.
  • Facilitate communication between business and IT teams.
  • Support deployment of technical solutions to production and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain data quality, consistency, and performance in the new Snowflake environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, BI developers, and business analysts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering roles.
  • Understand supply chain business processes.
  • Experienced in working on analytics-related projects and implementation.
  • Good exposure to SAP ERP systems like ECC or S/4HANA.
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts, including HANA modeling.
  • Ability to identify relationships between data sets.
  • Exposure to SQL queries and ability to query data for analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to BI reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of BI tools, such as Power BI.
