**Data Analyst Position Overview**

About the Role:

We are seeking an analytical professional with a passion for data to fill a Data Analyst position. The ideal candidate will have experience in data manipulation, analysis, and presentation to drive business decisions.

Years of Experience - 3 - 5 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and transform datasets from multiple sources.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, aggregate, and analyze large volumes of data.
  • Use Python for data manipulation, automation, and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and KPIs.
  • Support data validation, quality checks, and governance practices.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in SQL (query optimization, joins, CTEs, window functions).
  • Knowledge/Experience in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn for analysis & visualization).
  • Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and analytical solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.

**Good to Have (Preferred Skills):**

In addition to the above, having experience with:

  • BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
  • ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Statistics and basic machine learning concepts.
