Our company is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to spearhead the design and development of large-scale data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines utilizing various tools and technologies.
  • Develop complex datasets aligned with business objectives, ensuring seamless integration across systems.
  • Conceptualize 'big data' pipeline architecture to guarantee optimal performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data acquisition and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications, leveraging expertise in data engineering and cloud computing.
  • Utilize Google Cloud tools such as Python, Data Flow, DataStream, CDC, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage to integrate systems and data pipelines effectively.
  • Implement logging and alerting mechanisms to monitor pipeline performance, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Integrate SAP SLT to replicate SAP tables in Google Cloud, streamlining data synchronization.
  • Develop JSON messaging structures for application integration, facilitating seamless communication between systems.
  • Apply DevOps and CI/CD practices using GitHub and Terraform to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficient deployment.
  • Secure data access using IAM roles and Policy Tags in Big Query, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in GCP data engineering (offshore).
  • Hands-on experience in GCP tools (Python, SQL, Data Flow, DataStream, CDC, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage) required.
  • Junior Data Engineer: 2-3 years of experience in GCP data engineering (offshore).
