Electronics Design Expert

As an active member of our electronics design team, you will assist the project leader in requirements management, circuit design, analysis, implementation, and testing of aerospace electronics products. You will work on electronics component selection, analog and digital circuit design, schematic entry, circuit analysis for tolerance, power, thermal, and worst-case analysis, as well as layout guidelines and interface with layout engineers.

You will also participate in board bring up and testing, environmental testing, process quality and program compliance, technical decision-making, high-level and low-level design reviews, problem-solving analysis, and exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques within a related function field.

Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of electronics hardware involving digital, microprocessor circuits fundamentals, power, and EMI circuits. They should have practical experience in electrical design with high-speed digital or mixed-signal design, analysis, and troubleshooting.

The role requires ability to simplify circuits and explain underlying concepts clearly, provide technical guidance and leadership at project context, self-motivation, and good written and verbal presentation and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must have electrical design experience with high-speed digital or mixed signal design.
  • Have practical experience in the analysis/troubleshooting of the above.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of electronics hardware involving digital/microprocessor circuits fundamentals, power and EMI circuits.
  • Ability to simplify circuits and explain the underlying concepts clearly.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance, leadership at project context.
  • Self-motivated with focus on results, sense of urgency and working boundary less.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Design experience for complying EMI/EMC in power electronics application and exposure with RF Conducted and Radiated Emissions/Susceptibility Testing.
  • Good understanding of grounding and shielding techniques. Chassis design for good EMC is an added advantage.
