Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on new challenges and contribute to the development of innovative electronics products.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in power electronics, with expertise in closed-loop control, compensator design, and other relevant technical skills. They will also have experience working with high-speed or high-power semiconductor devices, specifically power converter designs over 100kVA and in medium voltage applications.

The Senior Electronics Engineer will be responsible for defining product hardware specifications, conducting thorough reviews of hardware designs and firmware control systems, and overseeing development progress. They will also create test plans to verify electrical, environmental, and functional compliance, and ensure adherence to established technical standards.

In addition, the Senior Electronics Engineer will perform FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) to identify potential risks and liabilities related to the product, and ensure timely resolution of issues. They will also coordinate with project managers and cross-functional teams to track product development milestones, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, and be able to work effectively in an agile product development model. They will also be familiar with circuit simulation tools like SIMULINK and have excellent circuit debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Power Electronics: A master's degree in power electronics or a related field is required, combined with 8-12 years of experience in the industry.
  • Technical Expertise: The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of closed-loop control for power converters, compensator design, and other relevant technical skills.
  • High-Speed and High-Power Semiconductor Devices: Experience working with high-speed or high-power semiconductor devices, specifically power converter designs over 100kVA and in medium voltage applications, is essential.
  • Technical Knowledge and System-Level Design: Solid technical knowledge, competence, and system-level design experience are necessary, with a proven track record of managing multiple power electronics projects.
