Job Overview:

  • The Regional Sales Service Specialist is responsible for owning the servicing of orders for regional sales teams in a defined customer service framework to ensure timely issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate demand over the horizon, assign prioritization to demand/orders/customers, and validate with purchase orders (POs), letters of credit (LCs), regulatory clearances, artwork details, stock-keeping unit (SKU) codes, internal lab check (IL Check), manufacturer's license check, minimum shelf-life requirement, pre-shipment documents submission to customers & timelines, regulatory confirmation, and other customer-specific requirements.
  • Analyze order status in our systems, gather information on scheduling, material receipt, and dispatch schedules, highlight potential issues affecting defined timelines, and take end-to-end ownership of assigned orders for the region.
  • Drive all documentation related to shipments with customer-facing teams.
  • Drives shipment planning with logistics teams, mitigates risks/delays proactively to incur no demurrage/penalties on shipments.
  • Attend relevant meetings to get data and information on all open orders for the region and their status updates, identify issues requiring approval/exemption by sales teams, arrange cross-functional meetings to resolve bottleneck-related priority orders ensuring on-time-in-full (OTIF) is met, gather feedback from timely resolution of issues with concerned stakeholders, identify outstanding/open orders for defined priority customers, analyze issues needing immediate escalations to cross-functional teams for timely resolutions, prioritize orders/customers based on defined parameters, and identify key stakeholders to engage in resolving outstanding issues.

Supply Chain Technology and Automation:

  • Identify opportunities for implementing IT and automation in order management processes improving supply chain visibility.
  • Drive the implementation and rollout cycle for all IT and technology automations within supply chain management jointly with IT.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and reporting (VBA macros, Power BI), good understanding with experience of supply chain essentials preferably pharma.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions, SAP knowledge essential, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective communication skills, decision-making, ability to prioritize dynamically, negotiation skills/conflict resolution, ability to manage multiple stakeholders, ability to understand and work around constraints, plant PPIC concepts clarity, prior experience essential, excellent time management skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines, excellent customer service skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
