Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer Opportunity

This is a senior role for a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer who can take ownership of end-to-end test automation, UI, APIs, and pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build UI test flows with Playwright
  • Explore the application of AI tools to enhance QA processes
  • Automate backend/API tests using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent
  • Develop smoke tests, regression suites, kill switches, and sanity checks
  • Integrate all tests into Github pipelines for auto-validation
  • Debug failing builds, isolate bugs, and log them efficiently
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and release teams to stay ahead of the curve
  • Manage test data and maintain the test environment
Requirements:
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with modern UI automation tools
  • Solid understanding of API testing, version control, and test lifecycle
  • Experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Github Actions)
  • Proficiency in writing, maintaining, and debugging automated test scripts
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (K6, JMeter) is an asset
  • Knowledge of testing AI/ML-based systems would be beneficial
