Accounting Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in accounting and a strong academic background.

Job Summary:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of our financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance while contributing to our strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss accounts.
  • Manage daily accounting activities, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded in Zoho and other relevant software.
  • Efficiently handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
  • Ensure strict compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Assist in internal and external audits by preparing and providing necessary documentation.
  • Manage and ensure timely filing of GST returns and other relevant tax filings.
  • Support management by assisting with budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to aid in business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a higher qualification.
  • A strong academic record, with a minimum of 85% or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an accountant, specifically within the manufacturing or food industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting software, particularly Zoho.
