Family Relationship Specialist

 

As a trusted advisor, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing professional relationships with high net worth family members. You will oversee wealth management activities, coordinate with financial, legal, and tax experts, and ensure seamless execution of financial and personal requirements.

 

To excel in this role, you should have advanced qualifications in finance, economics, or business administration, or relevant professional certifications from a reputable institution.

 

Relevant candidates will have 8-12 years of experience in wealth management, relationship building, and client servicing in a reputable organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Professional Relationship Management:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for the family and their representatives.
    • Build deep, trusted relationships while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion.
    • Understand family priorities, preferences, and sensitivities to anticipate needs.
  • Wealth Coordination:
    • Liaise with internal teams and external experts to monitor portfolios.
    • Support in evaluating new investment opportunities and ensure timely reporting to the family.
    • Coordinate with tax and legal advisors to ensure compliant and efficient wealth structuring.
  • Financial Oversight & Reporting:
    • Consolidate and present periodic reports on investments, expenses, and overall family wealth.
    • Track cash flows, budgets, and capital calls, ensuring smooth execution of transactions.
    • Highlight risks, performance trends, and opportunities to the family office leadership.
  • Governance & Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain proper documentation of investment decisions, contracts, and family directives.
    • Support in setting up governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Strategic Support:
    • Work with family office leadership on long-term planning, succession planning, and generational wealth transfer.
    • Provide insights into market trends, wealth preservation, and new opportunities.
    • Support in building a cohesive approach across investments, estate, and lifestyle requirements.
