Program Evaluation Specialist

Job Description:

Evaluating undergraduate applications involves assessing the applicant's writing skills, thought process, and suitability for the program they are applying to. School Teachers will be given preference for this role.

We are seeking a Program Evaluation Specialist to review and assess Undergraduate Admissions applications for various programmes offered by our institution.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with other team members in the Office of Undergraduate Admission and Financial Aid to develop a deeper understanding of each applicant.

This role requires the ability to analyze student marksheets, curricular and extra-curricular achievements, read personal statements, short essays and other available material to develop summary statements of each applicant.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess Undergraduate Admissions applications
  • Develop summary statements of each applicant
  • Work closely with the Office of Undergraduate Admission and Financial Aid
  • Analyze student marksheets and other available material
  • Offer insights to support the admissions process

Key Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent English reading and writing skills, as well as excellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skills, including public speaking.

You will also require high proficiency in operating a laptop, MS Office and other word packages, and a flexible approach and the ability to influence others.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Graduate in English Literature, communications, public relations, social sciences or related fields with relevant experience
  • 5 – 10 years of relevant experience
