Maintenance Specialist

Maintenance specialists play a vital role in ensuring the optimal functioning of industrial facilities. Their primary responsibilities include developing and implementing proactive maintenance strategies, conducting equipment inspections, and performing routine checks to identify potential faults.

  • Proactive Maintenance: Develop, implement, and oversee proactive maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery. Inspect, test, and evaluate equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs: Swiftly diagnose and repair faulty equipment to minimize downtime. Collaborate with operators and production teams to resolve machinery issues.
  • Maintenance Records & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including parts used, time spent, and problems solved.
  • Equipment Installation & Commissioning: Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery. Ensure all systems and machinery are installed correctly, operating safely, and meeting performance standards.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with the production and engineering teams to ensure seamless operation of the plant. Supervise and guide junior technicians and maintenance staff.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Participate in safety audits and risk assessments to improve plant safety and minimize hazards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor the availability and condition of spare parts and materials needed for maintenance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements to enhance machinery efficiency and reduce downtime.
