Overview

  • This is a Quality Assurance role that involves leading the implementation of QA best practices and ensuring high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Software Requirements: Understand software requirements to develop effective test plans and strategies.
  2. Collaboration: Collaborate with the Lead/Manager to prepare comprehensive test scenarios, cases, and scripts.
  3. QA Best Practices: Implement Quality Assurance best practices to ensure high-quality output.
  4. Test Data: Analyze and develop complex test data sets for thorough testing.
  5. Automation: Select test cases for automation, create, enhance, debug, and execute automated test cases using Selenium and BDD framework.
  6. Manual and Automated Tests: Execute manual and automated tests (Selenium, TestNG, Maven, BDD framework), developing automated test scripts as needed.
  7. Improvements: Suggest improvements to the automation framework and optimize test coverage to around 95%.
  8. Defect Management: Report defects, assist in their understanding, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  9. Test Results: Analyze test results, track software testing metrics, and prepare detailed test reports.
  10. Mentorship: Train junior software test engineers, mentoring them to improve their skills and knowledge.
  11. Quality Standards: Maintain high quality standards while working in a dynamic environment, fostering strong internal relationships and a flexible work ethic.

About You

  • Should have a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • With 7+ years of experience in Software Testing – Manual & Automation and Quality Assurance practice, will thrive in this role.
  • Must have exposure to Trade Finance platforms, testing web applications, databases, and APIs.
  • Strong expertise in different types of Functional and Non-Functional testing is essential, including System, Integration, Regression, Database, Performance, Stress, etc.
  • A proven ability to design and develop Test Automation Frameworks leveraging relevant code libraries is required.
  • Should be proficient with Selenium Webdrivers, TestNG, and other tools mentioned in the job description.
  • Candidates with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are highly preferred.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with configuration management, version control, and agile methodologies.
  • Good experience with database technologies like SQL server, MySQL, etc., and rest API's.
  • Knowledge of coding standards and best practices is desirable.
