Senior Snowflake Data Engineer

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize complex ETL and ELT processes using Snowflake SQL and cloud-native tools.
  • The successful candidate will have expertise in data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning, as well as experience with ETL process optimization.
  • They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data delivery and availability.
  • Additionally, they will be responsible for integrating Snowflake with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and monitoring query performance and warehouse usage.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines using Snowflake SQL and cloud-native tools.
  2. Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to ensure high-quality data delivery and availability.
  3. Develop and manage Snowflake objects, such as databases, schemas, tables, views, UDFs, stored procedures, streams, and tasks.
  4. Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  5. Monitor and optimize Snowflake query performance and warehouse usage.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Snowflake SQL, data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
  • Strong understanding of ETL and ELT process optimization.
  • Experience with data analytics and machine learning is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information effectively.
