Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to implement and manage our data privacy solutions across on-prem and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data discovery, classification, and governance initiatives as well as experience with configuring BigID modules and integrating privacy tools.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement, configure, and manage BigID solutions across diverse IT landscapes.
  • Drive data discovery, classification, and governance initiatives using BigID modules.
  • Maintain accurate Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and conduct thorough vendor risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations.
  • Implement and promote practices for Ethical AI, including data anonymization and pseudonymization techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • BigID modules: configuration, classification, integration (APIs, cloud)
  • Data discovery & privacy governance tools
  • RDBMS & NoSQL: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL
  • Scripting: Python, Java, Bash
  • Networking: HTTP, SSL, DNS, TCP/IP
  • Linux environments
  • Cookie management & categorisation
  • Vendor risk assessment, privacy inventories

Ethical AI and Data Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Global team collaboration
  • Stakeholder expectation management

Desirable Skills:

  • Industry experience: Energy, Oil
  • REST APIs, PowerShell scripting
  • Data visualization: Power BI, Tableau, Looker
  • Breach response awareness
  • Broad cloud exposure: AWS, Azure, GCP
