Job Opportunity: Senior Cloud Engineer

Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
  2. Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
  3. Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-prem resources.
  4. Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and implement betterments to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  5. Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
  6. Administer company SaaS platforms to ensure user productivity.
  7. Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments.
  8. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
  9. Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (e.g., ECS, EKS).
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Proven hands-on experience supporting Okta SSO Platform.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
