Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled Credit Underwriter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and assessing loan applications to ensure they meet our defined guidelines.
  • You will also be underwriting proposals in line with our policies and procedures to effectively manage business volumes.
  • A key aspect of the job is conducting personal discussions with clients to assess their creditworthiness and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • In addition, you will build and maintain relationships with third parties to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher (preferably MBA/CA)
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of mortgage, credit underwriting, and risk mitigation
    • Experience with client relationship management and process improvement
    • Familiarity with legal documentation and credit risk management
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
