Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled software quality assurance engineer to design, develop and execute automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automation frameworks and testing methodologies, as well as experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.

  • Design and implement automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects.
  • Report and track defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability and quality.
  • Mentor junior team members in automation best practices.

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of technical expertise and a strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

In addition to the key responsibilities mentioned above, the ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing and automation.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Experience in performance testing is a plus.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG and JUnit.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python and C#.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
  • Knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
