Job Summary

Virtual Techgurus India Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled UC Engineer to join our team. As a UC Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and validating customer environment requirements, performing installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of customer-managed hardware, software, and peripheral devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate understanding of customer environment requirements
  • Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of customer-managed hardware, software, and peripheral devices
  • Install, configure, and maintain customer Cisco UC/Contact Center environments
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure design compliance and provide peer reviews
  • Coach and mentor other engineers on best practices and Cisco technologies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field
  • 4+ years of hands-on Cisco UC experience with recent experience in deployment and implementation
  • Configuration and troubleshooting experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, and Cisco IOS Voice Gateways
  • Advanced understanding of networking protocols and experience initiating and working through OEM TAC cases

Preferred Certifications

  • CCNA
  • CCNP Collaboration
