Automation Expert for Software Quality

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team in a remote position.

You will be responsible for

  • Ensuring that software defects are identified early in the development lifecycle, collaborating with the development teams to promote continuous alignment
  • Implementing automated tests for various testing scenarios in the context of multiple country instances
  • Continuously extending the coverage of automation tests to support early detection of defects and risks
  • Working closely with country distribution and core domain squads to ensure software quality goals are being achieved
  • Proposing process improvements in the context of our continuous improvement strategy, and driving their implementation
  • Mastering all the necessary tools and components required to perform assigned tasks
  • Following established software development best practices and methodologies
  • Producing relevant documentation and guidelines to support the quality as everyone's responsibility strategy

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with automated testing
  • Proficiency in at least one software development language
  • Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, or similar technologies
  • Experience building automated test suites for build/regression testing
  • Experience with Jenkins, CircleCI, Bamboo, or similar tools

The following qualifications are not mandatory but will be highly valued:

  • Experience building Load/Stress Tests, using tools such as JMeter, Blazemeter, Apache Benchmark or similar
  • Experience in a continuous integration/deployment environment
  • Experience building tests in the context of a microservice/SOA architecture
  • Experience testing interfaces and APIs using SOAP-UI, Rest-Assured,or similar tools
