Job Title: BigCommerce Developer

Experience: 5–7 Years

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to drive our eCommerce initiatives and lead project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end BigCommerce development projects.
  • Build, customize, and integrate solutions on the BigCommerce platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, dev, QA, client teams).
  • Deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance eCommerce solutions.
  • Stay updated on BigCommerce trends and technologies.
  • Mentor developers and ensure best coding practices.

Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of proven experience in BigCommerce development.
  • Strong skills in BigCommerce Stencil, APIs, custom apps, and themes.
  • Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, ReactJS (must-have).
  • Shopify knowledge is preferred, not mandatory.
  • Solid project management & leadership ability.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Energetic, positive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement BigCommerce solutions that meet business requirements.
  2. Work closely with designers, developers, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver successful projects.
  3. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  4. Design, build, and test custom BigCommerce applications, themes, and extensions.
  5. Maintain and improve existing BigCommerce codebases.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have a solid background in BigCommerce development and possess excellent technical, communication, and project management skills.

You should be proficient in programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, and ReactJS, and have experience working with BigCommerce Stencil, APIs, custom apps, and themes.

A portfolio of your work or relevant projects would be beneficial in showcasing your expertise and creativity.
