Cummins Inc. Job Description

The Customer Order Management Representative plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of customer orders. This individual will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing orders, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned customer accounts for the entire order life cycle, from new customer set-up to order fulfillment.
  • Process customer orders, including order entry, modification, and escalation.
  • Act as the single-point-of-contact for customers, parts distribution centers, and manufacturing plants.
  • Provide accurate documentation and timely communication to customers throughout the process.
  • Resolve complex customer inquiries through extensive research and a detailed understanding of Cummins processes and systems.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant customer order management, account management, or supply chain experience.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and principles.
  • Proficiency in English, with strong email writing skills.

Qualifications:

  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Understanding of supply chain processes and principles.
  • Customer Query Resolution: Experience in handling and resolving customer queries effectively.
  • English Communication: Proficiency in both spoken and written English, with strong email writing skills.
  • Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work in rotational shifts, primarily night shifts.
