We are seeking an experienced Economic Research Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in economics, statistics, and policy research.

About the Role

The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting policy research, data analysis, and economic strategy design for state-level initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting applied research on economic growth, statistics, and public policy issues.
  • Analyzing large datasets and applying econometric/statistical techniques for policy insights.
  • Drafting policy briefs, reports, and presentations for decision-makers.
  • Engaging with government officials, industry leaders, and academic stakeholders.
  • Contributing to roundtables, workshops, and consultations on policy challenges.
  • Supporting project design, proposal development, research project management, and internal capability building.
Requirements
  • Masters, MPhil, or PhD in Economics, Statistics, or related fields from a reputed institution.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in policy research, data analysis, consulting, or academia.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and econometrics (Stata/R/Python).
  • Demonstrated ability to design and independently manage research projects.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
