Business Intelligence Developer

This is a hands-on opportunity to develop and deploy Business Intelligence solutions using Looker and LookML.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL and data modeling, with experience working with various data sources. They should also possess excellent communication skills and be able to self-manage tasks effectively.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust LookML models to create a single source of truth for our clients' data.
  • Create and maintain interactive Looker dashboards and reports that meet client requirements and business objectives.
  • Connect to various data sources (e.g., BigQuery, Azure SQL, APIs) and define relationships and data transformations within LookML.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize LookML code and Looker queries for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and deliver effective BI solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all Looker deliverables.
  • Assist in sales analytics, lead tracking, or project reporting as needed.

Required Skills:

  • 0.5–3 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying solutions with Looker and LookML.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (BigQuery, Azure SQL, or other relational databases).
  • Solid understanding of data modeling principles and experience with various data sources.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to self-manage tasks effectively.
